We are currently searching for an energetic Warehouse Manager to ensure the smooth operations of our warehouse. This key role will be responsible for meeting all productivity goals by maximizing process efficiency for the receipt, storage, and distribution of goods, effectively managing the warehouse team, designing layouts for optimal space utilization, and maintaining all warehouse health and safety standards. 

The successful candidate will be a driven multitasker capable of working in a fast-paced environment. We highly value strong leadership and communication skills, excellent time management skills, and a meticulous attention to detail. You should have the ability to evaluate all current warehouse systems and make well-reasoned recommendations for improvement. A thorough command of warehouse management best practices is essential.

Warehouse Manager Responsibilities:

  • Oversee all receiving, storage, and distribution operations
  • Adhere to all warehouse health and safety regulations
  • Manage inventory control 
  • Comply with all applicable laws for material handling and shipping requirements
  • Train and lead staff members to maximize productivity
  • Plan team assignments and delegate appropriately
  • Design and implement space layouts for optimal efficiency
  • Maintain warehouse management software
  • Produce reports such as History by Supplier and Inventory on Hand
  • Ensure all equipment is properly maintained (such as forklifts and trucks)
  • Prepare quarterly and annual budgets
  • Communicate with customers, suppliers, and transport companies
  • Implement all security measures utilizing internal teams or third parties

Warehouse Manager Requirements:

  • Strong command of warehouse management best practices
  • Experience with warehouse management software
  • Excellent communication and time management skills
  • Knowledge of all warehouse health and safety laws
  • Experience with preparing budgets
  • Proven experience managing a warehouse team
  • Knowledge of inventory controls and data storage systems
  • Ability to drive and maintain warehouse equipment such as a truck and forklift 
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills
  • 5+ years experience as a Warehouse Manager
  • Bachelor’s degree in logistics, supply management, or similar field preferred
